How can I be sure my cylinders are stored safely?
A

Cylinders are heavy and should never be left free-standing. When cylinders are stored vertically, they should be secured to a strong wall with brackets and chains.
NB: cylinders should never be used when horizontal.

Should I chain the nitrogen reservoir cylinders for my Gasgen system?
A

It is not standard practice to chain these cylinders. However, if their location is such that leaving them free-standing would cause a safety hazard (e.g, in a corridor), please discuss with your BOC Sureserve Sales Service Person.
