Suremix - Carbon Dioxide and Nitrogen Mixed Gas
BOC Sureserve supplies a range of food-grade mixed carbon dioxide and nitrogen gases for the dispense of stouts, lagers, ales and cider.
The Suremix range
- Suremix 25: 25% carbon dioxide / 75% nitrogen mixture used for dispensing stouts
- Suremix 50: 50% carbon dioxide / 50% nitrogen mixture for dispensing lagers, ales and cider
Mixed Gas Cylinder Sizes
Mixed Gas Cylinders are supplied in two sizes:
Large cylinder size N will dispense the contents of approx. 45 standard 50 litre kegs
Small cylinder size V will dispense the contents of approx. 12 standard 50 litre kegs
Matching supply to demand
To determine your dispense gas supply requirements based on your volume of trade, a trained BOC Cellar Management team can carry out a cellar survey and recommend the supply option which best suits your needs.
Mixed Gas Safety
Mixed gas cylinders contain Carbon Dioxide, which is an asphixiant gas and can cause injury if leaked in a confined space.
Areas containing CO2 gas must have the appropriate ventilation and/or CO2 monitoring system in place to minimise risk of injury
