Regulators

Single stage regulators are generally preferred where there is little inlet pressure variability or where some outlet pressure variability is acceptable. Also recommended for liquefied gases where inlet pressure is constant.

Two stage regulators and preferred where there is potential for large inlet pressure variations. A key feature of two stage regulators is the ability to make small, easy and precise adjustments at low pressures when the inlet pressure is high.
