Safe Handling of R744 (refrigerant grade CO2)

This one-day theory and practical course covers the basics of carbon dioxide (CO2, R744) as a refrigerant and explains how it should be safely handled.

City and Guilds 2079 in Refrigerant Handling

It is a legal requirement that all engineers who handle HFC-type refrigerants have this qualification by July 2011.

This is a two-day course for experienced engineers.

The City and Guilds 2079 in Refrigerant Handling (F-Gas) qualification is a practical skills test plus an online assessment.  This ensures candidates handle refrigerant safely, minimise the amount of refrigerant lost to the atmosphere and minimise refrigerant contamination.
