At BOC, we understand that organisations and industries need a range of decarbonisation solutions, to reduce emissions – and associated carbon costs – and that there is no one-size-fits-all. We are helping industry to adapt their processes and operations as carbon costs increase and working with transport and off-grid power sectors to help them reach their decarbonisation targets, on the path to net zero by 2050.
The Irish National Hydrogen Strategy aims to develop commercial business models to support the scale up and development of renewable hydrogen, from both renewable grid electricity pre-2030 and an initial aim of 2GW of offshore wind to hydrogen in development from 2030. Meeting such net zero commitments requires a significant short-term increase in both the scale and diversity of net zero technologies being developed.
BOC is already at the heart of the decarbonisation journey. We are leaders in the production, storage and supply of
hydrogen for use in transport and off-grid applications
. We are playing a key role in the development of
utilisation and storage and are experts in the supply and application of oxygen to
and fuel efficiency for heavy industry, a key stage in the hydrogen pathway.
