During our time as the provider of dispense gas and services for the brewers and on-trade customers of Ireland, BOC has proudly developed a reputation for reliable and trustworthy service.
Recently, we have experienced a significant increase in the number of non-BOC related call outs and other activities. Unfortunately, this level of activity is unsustainable and affects our ability to maintain the high level of service we currently provide to you.
Following a review, we have identified three key activities where a call out by BOC could have been avoided. These are: no fault found on arrival; non-BOC equipment related issues in the beer store/cold room and a range of other activities such as, gas system re-sites and second system requests.
To address this, we are enhancing our Customer Service Centre support capability to more accurately identify and resolve problems over the phone. There will of course be circumstances where an issue cannot be resolved over the phone and a call out is necessary.
To encourage a reduction in the overall number of non-BOC related call outs and other activities, it has now become necessary for us to introduce direct charges for some services.
In many instances, charges can be avoided by proactive management of activity around your beer store, cold room and gas dispense equipment.
These charges will be applied directly to your BOC account.
